Skills Clinics Sign Up List

Skills Clinics: Friday 1-5 pm

  • 11:30 AM - 12: 30 PM prior to the clinics.

  • Pick Up is at the Bar Mountain Lodge, right at the base of the mountain

  • During this time, you can also check in for the race and pick up your participant bag and info.

  • You may also check in other racers with the appropriate paperwork. 

  • All skills clinics participants need to be checked in and ready to go for the clinics by 12:45 p.m. 

  • Procedure: When you arrive at the lodge, please have your child(ren) take their bike to the clinic meeting spot or bike corral just past Express Lift

  • All clinic groups will leave from the clinic meeting spot at 12:50 p.m. and return there at 5 p.m. after the clinics are complete.

  • If you are late for the clinics, it will be your responsibility to get your child to their group.

  • The kids will be riding their bikes between locations.

  • Please be at the lodge no later than 5 p.m. to pick them up.

What to Bring (per participant):

  • (Mountain)-bikes (with knobby tires), pumped up tires, working breaks

  • Bike helmets

  • Bike gloves

  • Race backpacks with all mandatory gear:

  • Water

  • Snack

  • Sunscreen

  • Light wind/rain Jacket

  • Small First Aid Kit: Ziplock bag with disinfectant wipes, Neosporin, band aid

Clinic Schedule: 

  • Red-band: Group A -> Mountain Biking -> Adventure Racing -> Teamwork -> Climbing

  • Blue-band: Group B -> Adventure Racing -> Teamwork -> Climbing -> Mountain Biking

  • Green-band: Group C -> Teamwork -> Climbing -> Mountain Biking -> Adventure Racing

  • Yellow-band:  Group D -> Climbing -> Mountain Biking -> Adv Racing - Teamwork   

Clinic Locations:

  • Mountain Biking - Meets behind the Bear Moubntain base area. Coached by Mountain Bike Club instructors.

  • Teamwork - Meets at the patio at the Bear Mountain Lodge

  • Climbing - Meets at the Bear Lodge base lift. Coached by climbing instructors.

  • Adventure Racing 101 – Meets inside of the Lift Ticket Office. Coached by Margaret Ritz, Timberline Tours.

If your child has any special needs such as dietary restrictions, allergies (bees, nuts, etc.) or anything else we should know about, please let your clinic guides know before they depart.
